Assessment & Identification of Victims of Human Trafficking for Medical Professionals 11-18-2021

November 18, 2021 @ 6:00PM — 7:30PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Medical providers play a unique role in interacting with trafficking victims who are still being exploited, and are often the first professionals to have contact with. However, healthcare workers are rarely trained to recognize these patients, despite their potential opportunity to intervene. During this webinar, Lara Wilken will discuss how medical professionals can broaden their understanding of human trafficking, identify vulnerable populations, and minimize barriers when engaging with potential victims of human trafficking.
