Victim's Rights Human Trafficking Training

The Collaborative to End Human Trafficking is teaming up with the Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center to provide an engaging and insightful training on how to empower human trafficking survivors in the victim’s rights context. Victims’ Rights Advocates Bri Beech and Morgyn Miller will present in collaboration with Survivor Leader and Program Coordinator, Jasmine Myers, to discuss the issue of human trafficking, with special emphasis on the importance of survivors and their advocates understanding legal definitions and the rights that they have throughout these processes. This training will explore how criminal justice officials and advocates can help educate human trafficking survivors on their rights and how to assert those rights throughout the criminal justice process.
