Human Trafficking 101

We are excited to extend an invitation to our upcoming 4-part training series on Human Trafficking Awareness, designed to equip social workers, healthcare providers, law enforcement professionals, and service providers with essential knowledge and tools. This series aims to deepen your understanding of human trafficking issues, foster collaboration, and empower you to make a meaningful impact in your respective fields. Our Program Coordinator, Jasmine Myers, will lead the first session, "Human Trafficking 101," exploring the historical context, the significance of the TVPA act, and the current Federal definition of Human Trafficking. The training will delve into the components of human trafficking, typologies of exploitation, and the grooming process. We will also examine the impact of trafficking and the unique needs of survivors.
