Human Trafficking and Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Back by popular demand: we are teaming up with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities to provide an engaging and insightful training on providing supportive and comprehensive services for individuals with disabilities who are at risk or currently experiencing human trafficking. Joining us is local expert, Katherine Antall, together we will explore risk factors within the DD community that may lead to victimization and susceptibility to trafficking, discuss best practices and service responses that address underlying issues that can put individuals with disabilities at risk, and explain why sexual health education is key in sex trafficking prevention.
