Human Trafficking Prevention Statehouse Advocacy Day

Human Trafficking Prevention Advocacy Day is a dedicated event bringing together advocates, legislators, survivors and community leaders in Ohio to unite in the fight against human trafficking. The day will begin with a morning address by elected officials, setting the stage for collective action and shared commitment. Advocates from across the state will come together to build networks, exchange insights, and strengthen their collaborative efforts. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a brief Human Trafficking 101 training, equipping them with essential knowledge on identifying and addressing trafficking. Small-group meetings with legislators will follow, allowing advocates to share personal stories, discuss policy needs, and explore how legislation can support survivor-centered, preventative initiatives across the state.
